Robert Welch's iconic design Alveston, was designed in 1961, was originally manufactured as an 'all hollow handle' pattern. In 2001 the design was modified in scale, to suit the modern style of larger plates. RW2 is now manufactured as a single piece of stainless steel with no joints, whilst remaining true to the original form and aesthetic. The RW2 collection can be viewed here: https://robertwelch.com/search?q=rw2+satin There are sellers of Alveston however for original pieces for replacement & additions you can go to: http://www.oldhallclub.co.uk/html/sales.html.
